My favourite part of christmas decor is the lighting. The twinkle lights, candles etc. I am also obsessed with candles but find I mostly use them for fragrance. I do light candles when I'm entertaining but that is not a daily occurrence.
I recently became obsessed with battery operated candles. I replaced all my candles with battery operated real wax candles that are on a 6 hour timer. They go on every day at 8pm and go off at 2am. The effect is gorgeous and makes every night feel special.
Just a few strategically placed candles makes my home more inviting, wish I thought of this years ago.
